The Ancient Art of Raku
Raku is an ancient Japanese firing process.
In Raku firing each piece of pottery is taken from the kiln red hot.
It is then put in a bed of straw and as the dry straw flames and smokes the surface of the urn transforms into the Beautiful work of art you see here on this page
All of these Raku fired urns are special and one of a kind.
Due to hand-crafting, all weights and sizes are approximate and colors/patterns may vary slightly.
